Key Information

India में Kaspa (KAS) कैसे खरीदें?

1. किसी FIU-IND registered exchange पर sign up करें — जैसे CoinDCX, WazirX, या Binance India। FIU registration के बिना exchanges illegal हैं।
2. KYC complete करें — PAN + Aadhaar से। यह 5-10 मिनट में हो जाता है।
3. INR deposit करें — UPI सबसे fast (zero fee CoinDCX पर)। Net banking और IMPS भी available है।
4. Exchange पर KAS search करें और "Buy" tap करें। आप ₹100 जितना कम से शुरू कर सकते हैं — full coin खरीदना ज़रूरी नहीं है।
5. Large holdings (₹2 lakh+) के लिए hardware wallet (Ledger/Trezor) में withdraw करें — "Not your keys, not your coins"।

KAS पर Tax — Real Example

मान लीजिए आपने KAS ₹50,000 में buy किया और बाद में ₹70,000 में sell किया। Profit = ₹20,000।

• • Income tax (Section 115BBH) = ₹20,000 × 30% = ₹6,000
• • Cess (4% on tax) = ₹6,000 × 4% = ₹240
• • TDS (Section 194S, on sale value) = ₹70,000 × 1% = ₹700
• • Total tax outflow = ₹6,940
• • Net pocket profit = ₹20,000 - ₹6,240 = ₹13,760 (TDS credited at ITR)

Indian exchanges automatically 1% TDS deduct करते हैं। ITR filing में Schedule VDA भरना mandatory है।

KAS में invest करने से पहले — Risks और Considerations

• • Volatility — KAS (और सभी crypto) में 50-90% drawdowns common हैं। सिर्फ उतना invest करें जो खो सकें।
• • Tax treatment — Indian tax में losses set-off नहीं हो सकते (Section 115BBH)। हर profitable trade taxed होती है, losses ignored होते हैं।
• • Regulatory risk — India में crypto legal है पर regulation evolving है। April 2026 से exchanges सभी transactions report कर रहे हैं।
• • Security — large holdings hardware wallet में रखें। Exchanges hack हो सकते हैं (2024 WazirX का ₹2,000 cr hack)।
• • Long-term mindset — daily price न देखें। Minimum 4+ साल का horizon recommend किया जाता है।
