Scammers जो खुद को exchange support बताते हैं — पहचानें और कभी keys share न करें।
Fake customer support scams भारतीय users पर सबसे ज्यादा हिट करते हैं — language और urgency दोनों exploit होते हैं। Pattern hamesha same होता है, पर camouflage अलग।
Typical pattern: आप किसी exchange पर stuck हैं — withdrawal pending, KYC issue, या login problem। आप Twitter/X पर exchange से help माँगते हैं या Google पर "CoinDCX support number" search करते हैं। Within minutes आपको DM आती है या call आती है: "Hi, I'm from CoinDCX support। आपकी issue solve कर सकता हूँ। आप कौन हैं?"
Scammer आपका trust gain करने के लिए:
- Real exchange का logo profile picture में use करता है
- Fast professional responses देता है
- Specific terminology use करता है ("KYC tier 2", "P2P escrow")
- Sometimes WhatsApp number देता है — appears legit।
फिर slowly:
- "Account verify करने के लिए" 2FA code माँगता है
- "Funds recover करने के लिए" seed phrase या private key माँगता है
- Or screen-sharing app (AnyDesk, TeamViewer) install करने को कहता है — full device control मिल जाता है।
Result: आपके सारे funds drain, exchange account hacked।
Real Indian cases: - 2024: एक Mumbai user को CoinDCX से P2P payment stuck थी। Twitter पर help माँगी। एक DM आई "I'm CoinDCX official" — fake account जो हर tweet को stalk कर रहा था। User ने seed phrase share नहीं किया पर 2FA code share किया — हैकर ने login करके पूरा portfolio sell कर दिया, ₹8 lakh USDT में withdraw कर लिया। - 2023: एक trader को "Binance support" से email आई कि KYC re-verify करनी है। Link पर click किया, login credentials enter किए, ₹15 lakh worth crypto एक हफ्ते में drain हो गया।
Golden rules (absolutely no exceptions): - Real customer support कभी भी कोई password, 2FA code, seed phrase, या private key नहीं माँगता। अगर कोई माँगता है — 100% scammer है। No exceptions। - Real support कभी आपसे contact नहीं करेगा। आप उनसे contact करेंगे (via official app/website)। - Real support कभी screen-sharing app install करने को नहीं कहेगा। - Real support कभी आपको किसी और बैंक account में पैसा transfer करने को नहीं कहेगा।
सही support कैसे पाएं: - सिर्फ exchange के official app में support chat use करें — Settings → Help/Support - Official email: हर exchange का verified email है (CoinDCX: support@coindcx.com)। Domain double-check करें - Official Twitter handle blue checkmark के साथ ही (पर अब X पर fake blue checks भी हैं — handle exactly match होना चाहिए) - Phone calls के लिए: exchange की official support number app में check करें — Google पर search किया गया number 99% fake है
अगर scammer का DM आ रहा है: Block और report करें। उससे "थोड़ी देर तो बात करूं" का mistake न करें — manipulation pros हैं।
Telegram/WhatsApp warning: अधिकतर scammers initial outreach Telegram या WhatsApp पर करते हैं। Official exchanges कभी अनसुलझे user को proactively WhatsApp message नहीं करती।
