Support और Resistance
Price levels जहाँ buying/selling pressure consistently build होती है।
Support और resistance technical analysis का foundation हैं। Price hi sirf random move नहीं करती — कुछ levels पर repeatedly bouncing/reversing pattern देखती है।
Support: Price level जहाँ buying pressure consistently emerges। Price उस level तक गिरती है, buyers step in, price bounces back।
Resistance: Price level जहाँ selling pressure dominates। Price उस level पर पहुँचती है, sellers step in, price reverses down।
Support & Resistance Zones
Price levels जहाँ buying/selling pressure repeatedly emerge करती है।
⚠ Resistance
Price level जहाँ sellers strong हैं। 2-3+ touches = strong resistance।
✓ Support
Price level जहाँ buyers step in। Bounces प्रदान करती है।
💡 Resistance break = becomes new support। Support break = new resistance।
Why levels form? - Psychological barriers: ₹70 lakh, $100K जैसे round numbers - Previous highs/lows: history repeats - High volume zones: significant trading activity - Moving averages: 200-day, 50-day MA - Fibonacci levels: 0.382, 0.618 retracements
Identifying levels:
Step 1: Multiple touches। Level जो 2-3+ बार respected हो (price bounced/reversed) — strong।
Step 2: Volume confirmation। Level के पास high volume = significance।
Step 3: Time validity। Recent levels stronger than ancient ones।
Step 4: Round numbers। Psychological levels (₹70L, ₹75L, ₹80L for BTC)।
Example BTC chart analysis: - BTC ₹68L support (touched 3 times in last 3 months) - BTC ₹75L resistance (rejected twice) - Current price ₹72L = inside range
Strategy: buy at support (₹68L), sell at resistance (₹75L)। Set stop-loss below support।
Role reversal: Breakout patterns: - Resistance broken → becomes new support - Support broken → becomes new resistance
Example: BTC breaks ₹75L resistance → ₹75L now acts as support if pullback।
Types of S/R:
1. Horizontal: Static levels (₹70L, ₹75L) 2. Diagonal/Trendlines: Connect higher lows (uptrend) or lower highs (downtrend) 3. Dynamic: Moving averages — keep changing 4. Volume-based: Volume Profile shows high-activity zones
Trading strategies:
Range trading: Buy support, sell resistance, repeat - Works in sideways markets - Risk: range can break (false signal)
Breakout trading: Enter when price breaks key level - Wait for volume confirmation - Stop-loss just below broken level - Target: based on previous range
Pullback trading: Wait for retest of broken level - Lower entry risk - Confirmation of new direction
False breakouts: Most common trader trap। Price briefly breaks level → returns inside range।
Filters to avoid: - Wait for closing above/below (not just intraday wick) - Volume should increase on break - Multiple timeframe confirmation
Indian context:
Crypto में S/R less reliable than stocks क्योंकि: - 24/7 market (no fixed open/close levels) - Lower institutional volume - Higher volatility - News-driven sudden moves
पर still useful framework, especially BTC (most TA-friendly crypto)।
Practical setup: - TradingView open करो - BTC/USD chart load करो (or BTC/INR) - Daily timeframe देखो - 6-12 month history scan करो - Mark levels जहाँ price multiple times reversed - Set alerts price approach करते समय
